Welcome to the Lewis Science and Computer Labs! Your support of the Boosterthon Fun Run last spring was crucial to the start of our new science lab. The students will be visiting both labs during their specials time (just like PE, art and music). Depending on the needs of certain lessons, we may sometimes have two weeks rotations back to back in the science or computer labs.
The students will be engaged in hands-on science lessons, as well as, participating in STEM challenges. The Lewis Labs website will give you an idea of what your student will be learning about when they visit the lab. Each grade level has a page detailing the concepts that will be enhanced in the lab. Students will still be receiving the core of their science learning in their regular classrooms. The lab is meant to be an extension and enhancement of that learning.
